– Mediation Programs

Confluence’s name is a reflection of its mission and honors the region’s rich history as a community built just south of the confluence of two powerful, rivers, the Missouri and the Mississippi.  Picture4

Family Court Services

Confluence began its efforts by offering sliding scale family court  mediation to compliment volunteer mediation offered in St. Louis County Family Court, providing services to those who cannot afford traditional mediation services but do not qualify for volunteer services.

We also hope to offer Unmarried Parents Co-Parenting and Conflict Resolution training in early 2016.

We are also in the process of developing mediation services for small claims court and minor civil actions where traditional mediation services are often unaffordable or not cost effective.

Training for Professionals

Periodically, Confluence offers targeted training for professionals who provide services for Confluence or hope to begin providing services for the organization.  Courses often focus on specific skills required by professionals to either interface with the court system or develop particular conflict resolution skills required to offer services through the organization.
